Donna Jean Groves, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. She was born into the Ross family in Devil's Elbow on May 30, 1939.

As a teenager she moved to Iberia, where she met and married Gary Groves, who survives at the home. Together they raised their five children.

In addition to her loving husband, Gary Groves, she is also survived by two daughters, Jana Sexton (Bill) of Eldon and Karyn Smith (Allen) of Reno; son Alan Groves (Lisa) of Camdenton; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three half-sisters, Alexis Hooper, Victoria Garcia and Joyce Zinn; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Beth Groves Johnson and Theresa Darnell; parents, Betty & Loran Adams; stepbrother, Leon Adams; and stepsister, Ann Foster.

Donna was a member of Brays Advent Christian Church in Iberia.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., with services immediately following at 2 p.m., on Friday, October 11, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bob Hamm officiating. Interment will be held in Union Cemetery near Iberia.
