December 29, 1921 – June 8, 2020
Dorothy Rose (Busch) Williams, age 98, of Ulman, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in Webster Groves, Missouri, daughter of the late Jacob and Rose (Kammerick) Busch. On April 11, 1941 in Webster Groves, Dorothy married John Joseph Williams, who preceded her in death on December 14, 2002.
Dorothy was the youngest of six children, Harold, Walter, Virginia, Charles, and Martha. After retiring from South Western Bell Co., Dorothy and John relocated to Central Missouri in 1976, where they bought a small farm.
Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Orthwein (Walter) and Betty S. Eller; one son, John J. Williams II (Phyllis); grandchildren, Laura Orthwein, Elizabeth Lawing (Sean), George Orthwein (Christina), Geoffrey Orthwein (Danielle), Daniel Eller (Lisa), Melissa Brown (Ian), Trevor Eller (Miriam) and Adrianne Miller (Jeff); 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, and one great-granddaughter.
A private family graveside will be held on Friday, June 12, at Sunset Memorial Park near St. Louis.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
