Dorothy Jean Robinett, 63, of Brumley, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. She was born in Brumley on September 4, 1946, daughter of John S. and Verna Mae (Luttrell) Davis. On July 1, 1964, in Tuscumbia, Dorothy married Lester Robinett, who survives at the home.
She is also survived by two sons, Dale Robinett and Joe Robinett and wife Tara, both of Brumley; her mother, Verna Mae Davis of Brumley; five grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy Rodden and Theresa Plemmons, both of Brumley; and two brothers, Rick Davis and James Davis, both of Brumley.
She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Jerry Davis; and one sister, Eula Mae Rodden.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with services immediately following at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Melvin Vaughn will officiate. Interment will be in Robinett Cemetery near Brumley.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Dorothy Robinett Memorial Fund.
