Dorothy L. Tetley, age 91, of Iberia, formerly of Flint, Michigan, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. She was born in Kennett, MO, on February 1, 1925, daughter of the late Walter and Esther (Hill) Kaiser. On September 12, 1959, Dorothy married Don Tetley, who preceded her in death in 1995.
Dorothy was a member of the Eastern Star and Mt. Gilead Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Orla Jo Shock of McKinney, Texas; three grandchildren, Diane Shock of Fenton, Michigan, Rodney Shock and wife Janice of McKinney, Texas, and Amy Shock of Flint, Michigan; and five great-grandchildren, Tyler Shock, Andrea Shock, Jaylen Shock, Lydia Shock, and Jordan Shock; companion, Maurice Mace; and special friends, Gwen Mace and Gene Mace and wife Vicki.
In addition she was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Arthur Shock and several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., with an Eastern Star and funeral service immediately following at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 26, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Elton Dake will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc, Michigan at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016.
