Dorris Jean Wood, age 69, of Barnett, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, at Eldon Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Russellville on April 28, 1938, a daughter of the late James and Hazel (Leslie) Moss. On June 25, 1959, in Versailles, she was married to Edward Wood, who preceded her in death in 2002.

Those who survive her include: one daughter, Elaine Weaks of Big Rock, Tennessee; four grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, with services immediately following at 10:00 a.m. at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Pastor Everett Rayl will officiate.
