Dorsie Evoline Robinett, age 91, of Crocker, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in Brumley on June 1, 1918, daughter of Atha and Julia (Phillips) Robinett.
Dorsie attended Elementary School at Warren School and graduated High School at Brumley. She became a member of the Rodden Church of Christ at an early age and attended regularly all her life. She was a school teacher and also worked at a garment factory in Eldon. Her final employment before retirement was for the J.B. Deere Cedar Craft Company at Lake Ozark.
She is survived by one brother, Urshel Robinett and wife Geneave of Vancouver, Washington; one sister, Elsie Keeth and husband Orville of Crocker; two nieces; five nephews; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Sidney Robinett; and two sisters, Alta Phillips and Laura Robinett all of Brumley.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. William Ferguson will officiate. Interment will be in Robinett Cemetery near Brumley.
