Earline F. (Thompson) Caldwell, age 84, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in Tuscumbia on March 4, 1932, daughter of the late James Earl and Mamie Agnes (Roberts) Thompson. On May 23, 1952, Earline married Charles Caldwell, who survives at the home.

Earline was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Tuscumbia.

In addition to her husband Charles, she is also survived by one son, Norris "Buzz" Caldwell of Tuscumbia; two daughters, Priscilla Visser of Tuscumbia and Janice Keefover of Kansas City; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by three daughters, Rhonda Caldwell Jeffries, Mamie Caldwell, and Pam Baxter; one son, Mark Caldwell; two brothers, Wayne and Donald Thompson; and four sisters, Elnora Sears, Lenora Thompson, Grace Dake, and Belle Jordan.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. David Visser and Bro. Dennis Nichols will officiate. Interment will be in Tuscumbia Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, at the funeral home.
