Edison S. Berry, age 77 of Eldon, died Saturday, September 24, 2005, at his home. He was born in Tacoma, Washington on December 27, 1927, a son of the late Samuel Martin and Violet Eleanore (Earle) Berry.
Edison was a veteran of World War II. He also enjoyed spending time working on model airplanes, fishing and hunting.
Those who survive him include: three sons, Eddy L. Berry and wife Linda of West Plains, Samuel M. Berry of Everett, Washington and Don J. Berry and wife Terry of Norwalk, California; two daughters, Ruth Ann Archer and husband Charlie of Eldon and Mary J. Reed and husband David of Eldon; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
One granddaughter, Shannon Landers, also preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Friday, September 30, at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon with a memorial service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Diane Cutler will officiate. Interment will be in Eldon City Cemetery at a later date.
