Obituary
Edith Fern (Musick) Berry, age 96, of Eldon, died Wednesday, October 8, 2008. She was born in Miller County on July 1, 1912, a daughter of the late Frank and Minta (Eppright) Musick. On June 8, 1933, in Versailles, she was married to Verbal Earl Berry, who preceded her in death on June 13, 1980.
Those who survive her include: four children, Billy Gene Berry of Eldon, Lela Mae Bolien of Parhump, Nevada, Ruby Ilene Rush and husband Bill of Kansas City, Kansas and Earl Ray Berry and wife Ann of Pierce City; twelve grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
One son, Loyd Lee Berry and three sisters, Lilli, Ruby and Edna Musick, also preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, with services immediately following at 2:00 p.m. at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Rev. Jay Quinn will officiate. Interment will be in Jarrett Cemetery near Iberia.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Eldon Senior Center.
