Edna Marie (Cochran) Luttrell, age 83, of Brumley, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at the Dixon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born in Miller County on November 22, 1938, daughter of the late Noble Grant and Mildred (Shelton) Cochran. On September 1, 1956, in Crocker, Edna was united in marriage to Harold Dean Luttrell, who preceded her in death on October 22, 1999.

Edna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.    She loved working outside caring for her big yard with all her beautiful flowers, weed eating, and mowing until her health prevented her from doing so.  She always had her Bible close and read it faithfully each day.

She had a rewarding career as a housewife and in her earlier years she worked out of her home at Kraml Wood Products and the Iberia Factory. Edna was baptized at an early age and later became a member of Concord Christian Church in Crocker.

She is survived by five sons, Rickey (Sandy) Luttrell of Brumley, Kenny (Sonja) Luttrell of Iberia, Billy (Paula) Luttrell of Brumley, Jackie (Julie) Luttrell of Iberia, and Scotty (Gari) Luttrell of Iberia; two daughters, Judy (Freddie) Earp of Iberia and Penny (Danny) Lawrence of Crocker; daughter-in-law, Jami Pemberton of Iberia; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren with one on the way; brother, Dorlis Cochran; two sisters, Darlene Thompson and Betty Skokowski; her good friends, Melissa Whittle and Leigh Patterson; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Dallis Clay Luttrell; great-grandson, Luke Lawrence Thrasher, and brother, Francis Lee Cochran.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., with services immediately following at 2 p.m., on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Freddie Earp officiating.  Interment will be held in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.
