Edward "Eddie" Bock, age 72, of Meta, lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, March 29, 2020. He was born on August 25, 1947, son of the late Herbert and Rosa (Hodge) Bock. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Darlene Jaegers, on September 5, 1970. To this union one child, Rodney E. Bock, was born.

Eddie enjoyed the small things in life, driving his Ford tractors and going on rides on his side by side with his wife, Darlene, overlooking the farm that he loved. In April of 2013, Eddie retired from Quaker Window Products.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Bock; son, Rodney Bock; three grandchildren, Courtney Nilges (Kris), Ryan Bock and Erin Bock; great-grandson, Landon Edward Nilges (due in June); sister, Mary Jacobs (Joe) of Oklahoma; three sisters-in-law, Norma Jean Libbert (Harold), Dorothy Rehagen, and Wanda Sturtz (David), and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jim Bock, and brother-in-law, Lawrence (Dick) Rehagen.

Due to CDC recommendations, a private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, at St. Cecilia Cemetery in Meta with Bro. Shelby Barnhart officiating.
