Edward "Eddie" Orville Pemberton, age 72, of Iberia, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, at his home.  He was born in Iberia on September 3, 1949, son of the late Orville and Lois Dean (Bond) Pemberton.   On April 12, 1969, Eddie was united in marriage to Kathy Diane St. Clair, who preceded him in death on August 21, 1973.  On September 5, 1975, Eddie married Vicky Morrow.

Eddie enjoyed the outdoors and his favorite pastimes included hunting various game and running his dogs.  Eddie's CB handle was Peacock.  He loved to aggravate anybody and everybody he knew and met.  He was an avid Iberia Rangers fan and loved watching his grandchildren play ball.  He had unconditional love and devotion for his family, especially his grandchildren.  Eddie was baptized at the Church of Christ and attended Fairview Christian Church in Iberia.

He is survived by two sons, Earl (Trish) Pemberton and Edward (Crystle) Pemberton; daughter, Liz (Davie) Thompson; companion, Paulette Duncan; one stepdaughter, Mandy (Cliff) McKinnon; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; sister, Judy (Jim) Layman; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Eric Pemberton; brother Darrell "Jimmy" Pemberton and wife Mary; and daughter-in-law, Angie Pemberton.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Randy Stohs and Brandon Kissinger officiating.  Inurnment will be held at Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.
