Edwin E. Duncan, age 58, of Iberia, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010, at his home. He was born in Crocker on June 9, 1952, son of Emel and Betty Maxine (Gilliam) Duncan. On September 3, 1971, in Crocker, Edwin married Mary Regina Richter, who survives at the home.
Edwin was employed at the Camden County Public Water District #4 for over 30 years. He was a member of Mt. Union Church of Christ near Brumley.
He is also survived by his mother, Maxine Duncan of Iberia; three children, Wendy Carman of Eldon, Jeremy Duncan and wife Joni of Iberia, and Melody Graves and husband Phil of Iberia; seven grandchildren, Brittany Carman, Jesse Carman, Brianna Carman, Emit Duncan, Eva Duncan, Austin Graves, and Ava Graves; paternal grandmother, Venis Duncan; four brothers, David Duncan, Doug Duncan, Brian Duncan, and James Duncan; two sisters, Lisa McDowell and Christie Duncan; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emel Duncan.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Lee Todd will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery in Brumley.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, at the funeral home.
