Obituary
Emil Frank Zimmer, age 73, of Vienna, died Monday, November 3, 2008, at Maries Manor in Vienna. He was born in Brinktown on October 15, 1935, son of Joseph and Clara (Brandel) Zimmer.
Prior to his retirement, he worked for many years for Intertherm, Inc. in St. Louis. He was a member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Brinktown.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Zimmer of Doniphan and David Zimmer of St. Louis; two half brothers, Martin Zimmer of Kansas City and Donnie Zimmer of Omaha, Nebraska; three half sisters, Betty Duggan of Brinktown, Helen Trippensee of Jefferson City, and Teresa Erhart of Havelock, North Carolina; and six grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 7, at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Brinktown. Msgr. Marion Makarewicz will officiate. Interment will be in Guardian Angels Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Friday at the church.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Masses.
