Emma J. Pearce, age 76, of Iberia, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia.  She was born in Brumley on August 30, 1948, daughter of the late Ralph Alonzo and Bonnie Agnes (Hart) Pearce.

Emma worked in various dietary departments throughout her career, including The Lodge, Shoney's Restaurant, and Walmart.  She enjoyed quilting, attending yard sales, and special trips to Eldon where she enjoyed a chili dog from the Drive-In.  Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her children and grandchildren, who she loved unconditionally.

She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie (Tom) Curnutt; life partner, Doyle Hogue; granddaughter, Sierra; and two grandsons, Mathew and James; one brother, Alfred Pearce; and a host of family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Pearce; sister, Thelma Steward; and brother, Truman Pearce.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Iberia.
