Ethel G. Wiley, age 99, of Ulman, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012, at the Miller County Nursing Home in Tuscumbia. She was born in Miller County, on January 24, 1913, daughter of the late Charley and Stella (Clark) Wyrick. On November 1, 1958, in Camdenton, Ethel married John Robert Wiley, who preceded her in death on March 20, 1995.
She is survived by one sister, Opal Robinett of Tuscumbia; one grandson, Rex Smith and wife Mendy Harrisburg; five nieces and nephews including, Judy Patterson and husband Marvin of Ulman, Gladys Mickley and husband Gene of Purdy, and Kenny Denzl and wife Nancy of St. Louis; and several great nieces, great nephews, family, and friends.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Warren Wyrick, Arthur Wyrick, Malachi Wyrick, and Charles Wyrick; two sisters, Blanche Wyrick and Mabel Denzl; and one son, Glen Smith.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2012, in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Tuscumbia. Bro. Gene Edwards will officiate.
