Eunice Delores Adkins, age 77, of Osage Beach formerly of Iberia, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014, at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was born in Meta on December 29, 1936, daughter of the late Andrew and Gertie (Vaughan) Adkins.

Eunice was considered family to many residents and employees at the Osage Beach Health Care Center. Throughout her life, Eunice was always a very thoughtful and considerate lady who cherished her religion. In 1964 she joined the Trinity Christian Church near Meta and later joined the Iberia Church of Christ.

She is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Terwilliger of Eldon and Lillian Wallace of Vandalia and several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Andrew and Gertie Adkins, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thurman Adkins and Melvin Adkins; and one infant sister, Effie Adkins.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services immediately following at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, November 11, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Manuel Seaton will officiate. Interment will be in Crismon Cemetery near Iberia.
