Eunice (Jenkins) Ogilbee, age 88, of Ulman, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2012, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia. She was born in Ulman on June 4, 1924, daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie (Witt) Jenkins. On October 21, 1944, in Tuscumbia, Eunice married Kenneth R. Ogilbee, who preceded her in death on January 5, 2001.
Eunice was a member of the Mt. Zion Christian Church near Tuscumbia.
She is survived by five children, Patricia S. Betance and husband Daniel of Long Beach, California, Linda L. Oliver and husband Leslie E. of Crabtree, Oregon, Larry K. Ogilbee and wife Nheim of Austin, Texas, Ronald R. Ogilbee and wife Marilyn of Keller, Texas, and Gregory P. Ogilbee and wife Sherri of Whittier, California; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Curtis W. Jenkins of Rushhill; and four sisters, Ethel Wertz of Citris Springs, Florida, Dorothy Edwards of Tuscumbia, Helen Martin of Columbia, and Tracey Wilms of Eugene.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Oliver Jenkins, Gene Jenkins, and Carl Jenkins; one sister, Ruby Kemp; and three infant siblings.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 4, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Charles Worstell & Gene Edwards will officiate. Interment will be in Jackson Cemetery near Ulman.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 3, at the funeral home.
