Evelyn M. Atwill, age 78, of Iberia, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010, at her home. She was born in Iberia on October 28, 1931, daughter of the late Willie Martin and Sylvia Edrie (Howser) Irwin. In 1946 in Mountain Home, Arkansas, Evelyn married Jerry Tennison Atwill, who preceded her in death on December 4, 1965.
She delivered Meals on Wheels for the Iberia Area. She was loved by many and will be missed. Evelyn was a member of the Congregational Christian Church in Iberia.
She is survived by two sons, Craig Atwill and Rex Atwill; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Eva Phillips.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Theodore "Ted" Irwin and one grandson.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Iberia Cemetery.
