Faye M. Keeth, age 84, of Iberia, died Sunday, December 30, 2007, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born in Dixon on November 30, 1923, daughter of William Lofton and Urmina (Barnhart) Helton. On February 12, 1942, in Tuscumbia, she was married to Vernon Allen Keeth, who preceded her in death on March 8, 1991.
She was a member of the Iberia American Legion Post 105 Ladies Auxiliary and the Iberia Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Irwin and husband Mike of Iberia; one son, Doug Keeth and wife Patty of Iberia; two grandchildren, Junior Blankenship and wife Jeanine of Iberia, and Jason Keeth and wife Morgan of Ulman; one step granddaughter, LeAnn Huey and husband Jason of Swedeborg; three great-grandchildren, Jesse Blankenship and Jasper Blankenship both of Iberia and Moriah Keeth of Ulman; and two step
great-grandchildren, Balin Huey and Cadie Huey both of Swedeborg.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sandra Kay Keeth; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 1, 2008, at the Iberia Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Greg McClain will officiate. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Iberia.
Visitation will be from 4:30-8:00 p.m. on Monday at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
