Flora May Wall, age 94, of Brumley, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at her home. She was born in Miller County, on July 31, 1931, daughter of the late Oscar and Miriam (Allison) Houser. On December 12, 1954, Flora was united in marriage to Gail Clay Wall, who preceded her in death on January 1, 1981.

Flora faithfully served her community in many ways over the years. She worked for several years as secretary for the Iberia Board of Education and also served as bookkeeper for Brumley Baptist Church. Even after retiring from the Department of Health, she continued working at Highland Dairy.

She found joy in working puzzles and was well known and dearly loved in her community. Flora was a devoted and active member of Brumley Baptist Church, where her steadfast faith and kind presence were a blessing to many.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Wall; daughter, Becky (Doug) Huntting; three grandchildren, Bryan (Paige) Huntting, Sarah (Matt) Bassett, and Kristen Huntting; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Miriam Houser; husband, Clay Wall; and her sister, Erma Fay Vernon.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Interment will be held in Hawkins Cemetery near Brumley with Pastor Brandon Kissinger officiating.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Brumley Baptist Church.
