Obituary
Floyd C. Rowden, age 89, of Iberia, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. He was born in Miller County on October 17, 1919, son of Grover and Eva Mae (Lawson) Rowden. On April 11, 1952, in Harrison Arkansas, Floyd married Katie Hazel Humphrey, who preceded him in death on March 13, 2003.
Floyd was a member of the Iberia Masonic Lodge # 410 AF & AM for over 50 years. He was baptized in the Big Tavern Creek and attended Bray's Advent Christian Church.
He is survived by one brother, Lloyd F. Rowden and wife Viola of Dixon and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother.
Visitation will be from 1-3 P.M. with services immediately following at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, May 1, 2009, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Roy Gilkey will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery near Iberia.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Bray's Advent Christian Church.
