Frances Irene (Deeken) Falter, age 78, of Argyle, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018, at Maries Manor in Vienna. She was born in Argyle on January 27, 1940, daughter of the late Henry Vincent and Elizabeth Mary (Redel) Deeken. On August 30, 1958, in Argyle, Frances married Clarence Falter, who survives at their home.
Frances loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and tending to her flowers. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Frances was a faithful member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Argyle.
In addition to her loving husband of 60 years, Clarence Falter, she is also survived by four children, Donna Haller and husband David of Vienna, Carol Hendley of Iberia, Judy Falter of Annapolis, and James Falter and wife Carol of Argyle; ten grandchildren, Amy Neier (Cory), Cindy Raithel (Nick), Sara Campbell (Steven), Jeff Hendley, Matt Hendley (Susie), Josh Falter (Haley), Amber Falter (fiancé, Steve Brown), Courtney Falter, Jeremy Falter, and Cody Horton; eleven great-grandchildren, Claire Neier, Annie Neier, Emma Raithel, Henry Raithel, Maci Campell, Graci Campbell, Hallie Hendley, Lilly Hendley, Reagen Brown, Kara Brown, and Lane Hendley; two brothers, Harold Deeken and wife Joan of Argyle and David Deeken of Dixon; and one sister, Lucille Libbert of Laurie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Anthony Deeken, Joseph Deeken, Henry Deeken Jr., Clemens Deeken, Charles Deeken and John Deeken; one sister, Leona Busche; son-in-law, David Hendley; grandson, Todd Horton; and one great-granddaughter, Taliya Helton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., with a morning visitation from 9 to 10 a.m., on Thursday, September 6, 2018, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Argyle with Fr. Gregory C. Meystrik officiating. Interment will be held in St. Aloysius Cemetery in Argyle.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 5 p.m., on Wednesday, September 5, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Argyle.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Masses.
