Francis Lee Cochran, age 80, of Iberia, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at his home. He was born in Iberia on November 20, 1936, son of the late Grant and Mildred (Shelton) Cochran. On August 3, 1956, in Iberia, Francis married Pauline Fern Robinett, who preceded him in death on January 23, 2003.
Francis attended Hawkeye Baptist Church where he was baptized.
He is survived by one daughter, Sandy Perry and husband Rodney of Iberia; three sons, Rocky Cochran and wife Deb, Roddy Cochran, and Jimmy Cochran and wife Jamie all of Iberia; special friend, Sharon Knotts; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Edna Luttrell of Brumley, Darlene Thompson and husband Phillip of Kaiser, and Betty Skokowski and husband Gene of Eldon; and one brother, Dorlas Cochran and wife Margaret of Iberia.
In addition to his parents and wife he was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Dean Luttrell.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Friday, November 10, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Freddie Earp officiating. Interment will be in Dick Lawson Cemetery near Iberia.
