IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Francis L.
Struemph
June 2, 1943 – July 23, 2021
Francis L. Struemph, age 78, of St. Elizabeth, known to his family and friends as Frank, passed into the realm of Heaven on Friday, July 23, 2021. He was born in St. Elizabeth on June 2, 1943, son of the late William and Martha (Koehne) Struemph.
Frank's two favorite things; family and farming, it was that simple. From the moment he would awake until his body could go no longer, he was farming. Even in his last months and all the way to the end, he was farming. He left quite the legacy for his kids and grandkids and for most anyone who knew him. He was devoted Catholic and member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth, Missouri. He loved country western dancing, playing cards, pitching horseshoes, limb lining, and of course, being with Mom.
Frank, when faced with a challenge or tough decision would always tell his kids…Just do the right thing, because it's the right thing to do.
Frank and his wife, Dolores (Green) Struemph, were married at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on August 3, 1963 and enjoyed a full farm life of nearly 58 years. Frank and Dolores have four children: Michele Renkemeyer (Dale Renkemeyer), Lisa Struemph (Randy Droll), Scott Struemph (Tina Struemph), and Dustin Struemph (Angela Struemph). Frank and Dolores are grandparents to Sara Rae Struemph, Amber Nichole (Struemph) Kramer, Trey Walker Struemph, Lauren Marie Struemph, Jace Hunter Struemph, and Beau Francis Struemph; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha and William Struemph; five sisters, Mary Ann Clevenger, Ludmilla Kliethermes, Virginia Beach, Margie Johnson, and Odellia Struemph, and his brother, John Struemph.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Fr. William Korte officiating. Interment will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery in St. Elizabeth.
