Fredonna L. Kemna, age 58, of Jefferson City, formerly of Meta, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009, at her home. She was born in Miller County on October 31, 1950, daughter of Stephen C. and Catherine (Kirkweg) Kemna.
She attended Fatima High School and worked for many years in the housekeeping field for the state of Missouri and other companies before illness forced her to retire. She loved the outdoors, especially fishing. She was an out-going individual making many friends and acquaintances. She always considered others before herself. She was deeply loved by many and will be sincerely missed. She also had a special love for her cats. Fredonna was a faithful member of Solid Rock Family Church in Jefferson City. She loved her church and would constantly invite others to go with her.
She is survived by two aunts, Shirley Luebke and husband Rich of Coffeen, Illinois and Gertrude (Rehagen) Kirkweg of St. Elizabeth; one uncle, Norbert Buechter of Iberia; and several cousins.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
