Gary Lee Morrow, age 66, of Iberia, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at his home.  He was born in Jefferson City, on January 22, 1955, son of Bobby Edward Morrow and Hazel (Scott) Morrow. On July 1, 2012, Gary was united in marriage to Linda Diane Ramsey, who preceded him in death on June 26, 2014.

Gary enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting, spending time on the water, and gave his passion for cars to his son.  Prior to Linda's death, they loved motorcycle riding together.   Gary was a family man who loved his family very much.

Gary had a successful 30-year career in the medical field.  He was employed as an EMT, nurse, and was the administrator at Golden Living Center in St. James.  Prior to nursing, he traveled the country working in construction.

Gary had many great achievements during his lifetime, but his greatest achievement was being a father and "Pa" to his grandchildren.   He was a member of the First Christian Church in Iberia.

He is survived by his mother, Hazel Morrow; children, Tara Lea Marie Morrow and Joel Robert Morrow; one grandchild, Katrina Driggers; stepchildren, Michael Shields and Christina McKinnon; six step- grandchildren, Mariska, Shelby, Cloey, Luke, and Cole; sister, Vicki Pemberton; and numerous family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Morrow and nephew, Eric Pemberton.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 11 a.m., on Thursday, October 28, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Stan Way officiating.  Inurnment will be held in Union Cemetery near Iberia.
