Genevieve Ann Voss, age 71, of St. Anthony, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010, at her home. She was born in St. Anthony, on August 29, 1939, daughter of the late Lawrence and Josephine Ann (Buechter) Herx. On November 25, 1961, in St. Anthony, Genevieve married Bernard John Voss, who survives at the home.

She was employed at the Iberia MFA Grocery Store for over 20 years and retired from the St. Elizabeth Care Center where she was employed for over 20 years. Genevieve was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

She is also survived by three children, Cindy Ward of Jefferson City, Travis Voss of St. Anthony, and Spencer Voss of St. Anthony; four grandchildren, Sarah Lovicott of Lott, Texas, Renee Otto of Springfield, Dylan Voss of St. Anthony, and Shayli Voss of St. Anthony; two great-grandchildren, Lane Lovicott and Scarlett Lovicott; three brothers, Tom Herx of Eldon; Jerry Herx of St. Anthony, and Larry Herx of St. Anthony; and three sisters, Mary Herx of St. Anthony, Louise Hagenhoff of Russellville; and Patsy Voss of St. Anthony.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Donald Herx and Ralph Herx.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, September 16, 2010, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony. Rev. Daniel Lueckenotte will officiate. Interment will be in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, September 15, at the St. Anthony Parish Hall.
