Geraldine Catherine Kirkweg, age 69, of St. Elizabeth, died Friday, March 10, 2006, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born in St. Anthony on December 26, 1936, a daughter of Frank and Helena (Holtmeyer) Goeller. On September 4, 1954, in St. Anthony, she was married to Cornie Henry Kirkweg, who preceded her in death on May 9, 2002.

She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth and St. Ann's Sodality. She gave freely of her time volunteering at the St. Elizabeth Care Center. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, and visiting with family and friends.

Survivors include three daughters: Connie Kreutz and husband Martin of Holts Summit, Sharon Helton and husband Randy of St. Elizabeth, and Donna Mueller and husband Art of Meta; six grandchildren, Eric Kreutz and wife Donna, Scott Kreutz and wife Amber, Casey Helton, Taylor Helton, Carissa Mueller, and Ethan Mueller, and one
great-grandson, Eric Ray Kreutz.

Her parents; an infant daughter, Karen Kirkweg; and two brothers, John C. Goeller and Bernard "Ben" Goeller, also preceded her in death.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth. Rev. Francis Stuart, OSB, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday at the St. Elizabeth Community Center with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
