Geraldine Anna (Scheulen) Berry, age 82, of Dixon, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center.  She was born in Meta, on October 24, 1941, daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Marie (Schaffer) Scheulen.  On December 29, 1984, in Meta, Geraldine was united in marriage to Gerald Berry, who preceded her in death only days prior on September 20, 2024.

Geraldine possessed a strong work ethic.  She was employed for nearly 40 years at Langenberg Hat Factory in St. Elizabeth.  She shared a passion for gardening with her husband, Gerald.  Geraldine took pleasure in cooking, sewing, and crocheting.   She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth.

She is survived by three sons, Michael (Mary) Frazier, Greg (Ruth) Frazier, and Tim (Pat) Frazier; three stepchildren, Gerald Berry, Jr., Steve (Denise) Berry, and Lisa (Tom) Woodward; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three siblings, Linda (David) Pace, Richard Scheulen, and Melvin (Beverly) Scheulen; and a host of family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Genevieve Branch, Jeanette Ripka, and Dianna Schubert and three brothers, Kenneth "Dick" Scheulen, Daniel Scheulen, and Raymond Scheulen.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with a graveside service following at Union Cemetery in Iberia on Saturday, October 5, 2024, with Manuel Seaton officiating.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Union Cemetery in Iberia.
