Gladys Marie Doerhoff, age 95, of St. Anthony, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Care Center.  She was born in Miller County on December 5, 1927, daughter of the late Omar and Sally Ann (Shackleford) Hickey.  On April 12, 1947, Gladys was united in marriage to Lambert Doerhoff, who preceded her in death on March 24, 2003.

She enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and had a talent for quilting.  Gladys was a member of The Sunshine Gals and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

She is survived by three sons, Gary (Dianne) Doerhoff of Norfolk, VA, Darrell (Rosemary) Doerhoff of Tompkinsville, KY, and Randy (Diane) Doerhoff of St. Peters; daughter, Lesa Herx of Iberia; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Shelton; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Atchison; two sons-in-law, David Atchison and Ted Herx; brother, John Davis Hickey; and grandson, Roger Guzman.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 11 a.m., on Friday, December 9, 2022, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Fr. Christopher Aubuchon officiating.  Interment will be held in St. Anthony Cemetery.
