Obituary

Glen "Bus" Cochran, age 82, of Iberia, died Monday, April 14, 2008, at the Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Iberia on September 24, 1925, son of William Jasper and Eunice (Moneymaker) Cochran.

He was a cattle farmer most of his life and enjoyed fox hunting. He was baptized at the Mt. Union Church of Christ near Brumley.

Survivors include two sisters, Eula Mae Cochran of Iberia and Alice Mitchell and husband Warren of Brumley; two brothers, David Cochran and wife Birdene of Brumley and Danny Cochran and wife Carol of Iberia; and several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Glenneth, Denny, Andy, Leroy, and Billy Cochran; and three sisters, Verna Luttrell, Dorothy Phillips, and Juanita Harrison.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Billy Claiborn will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
