Glotha Mae (Duncan) Meredith, age 86, of Iberia, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, at her home. She was born in Iberia on September 14, 1931, daughter of the late Clyde and Sarah Mildred (Cochran) Duncan. On November 21, 1959, in Linn Creek, Glotha married Gene Meredith, who preceded her on June 9, 2018.

Glotha was a homemaker and loved gardening and canning. She enjoyed cooking for the family and always made sure her food was seasoned with salt. Glotha was a faithful member of Concord Christian Church and the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her son, Mark Meredith and wife Carol of Iberia; daughter, Jeannie Neuman and husband Rod of Iberia; three grandchildren, Dustin Meredith (Christy), Kyle Neuman (Debbie), and Hannah Carico (Tyler); six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Gene, she was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Megan Meredith; sister, Kitty Slenker; five brothers, Jack, Chuck, Bobby Duncan and two infant brothers.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 25, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Lee Todd officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. with an Eastern Star service at 7 p.m., on Sunday, June 24 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Union Cemetery.
