Gregory Alan Cardwell, age 65, of Iberia, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.  He was born on July 8, 1958, son of the late Cance Clinton Cardwell and Verna Lee (Keeth) Cardwell Pemberton.

Greg graduated from Russellville High School in 1976.  He enlisted in the United States Army, serving from October 2, 1986, until his honorable discharge on October 1, 1989.  Greg enjoyed taking photographs of the landscape and sunset scenery.  He cherished his time spent with family and having a beer with old friends.

He is survived by three children, Dustin (Samantha) Cardwell of Stafford, Virginia, Jake Cardwell of California, and Lindsey (Jordan) Byrd of Eldon; his partner, Kim Grannis of the home; seven grandchildren, Cance, Clara, Charlie, Kolby, Kiersten, Hestynn, and Hollynd; four siblings, Russell (Denise) Cardwell of Lutz, Florida, Jeanine Blankenship of Iberia, Kevin (Ruth Ann) Cardwell of Iberia, and Gary (Kelly) Pemberton of Iberia; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A private inurnment will be held at Curry Cemetery near Iberia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Curry Cemetery.
