Harold James Duncan, age 86, of Brumley, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Eldon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Brumley on March 16, 1934, son of the late John Henry and Minnie Florence (Rodden) Duncan.

Harold worked at Stanton Manufacturing for many years and retired from Lake Regional Hospital after 20 years of employment. Harold had a kind heart, always willing to help others in need. He would often care for the sick in his community, sometime staying with them throughout the duration of their illness. Harold was a devout Christian and faithfully read his bible each day.  He was a member of Mt. Union Church of Christ near Brumley. Harold had many endearing qualities and was loved by all his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by one brother, Wayman Myron Duncan, sister-in-law, Bernadine Duncan, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by seven siblings, Henry Monroe "Roe" Duncan, Joseph "Joe" Duncan, Frank Duncan, Wayne Duncan, Milton Duncan, Anna Jean Bogart, and Delcia Duncan.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 11, at Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley with Bro. William Thompson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Union Cemetery.
