Harold Hake, age 70, of St. Elizabeth, died Sunday, April 29, 2007, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born in St. Elizabeth on April 19, 1937, a son of the late John and Alta (Brasier) Hake.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth.
Those who survive him include one son, Ronny Hake of St. Elizabeth; two daughters, Cathi Hallquist of Arnold and Margaret Hamel and family of St. Louis; seven brothers, John, Jr., Kenny, Norbert, Virgil, Matt, Larry and Gary Hake; and four sisters, Norma Jean Holtmeyer, Betty Ross, Virginia Suche and Leona Otto.
Two brothers, Danny and Fred Hake, also preceded him in death.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth. Interment with military honors will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Rekus Funeral Home in St. Elizabeth with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.
