Hazel Delane Browne, age 91, of Iberia, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in Eugene on February 12, 1922, daughter of the late Floyd and Brooksie (Workman) Richardson. Hazel was married to James Browne, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Clifford E. Baucom and wife Vicki of Iberia; two daughters, Barbara A. Erb and husband Glen and Hazel Lea Baucom both of O'Fallon; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Marvin Richardson of Aurora Springs, Glen Richardson of Kansas City, Kansas, and Wayne Richardson of Kansas City, Kansas.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers and sisters, Bert Richardson, Delphi Keeth, Valma Cline, Corene Aton, and Ann Caufman.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 3 p.m., on Sunday, April 21, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Cliff Baucom will officiate.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hazel Browne Memorial Fund.
