Hazel M. Hutchison, age 82, of Willard, formerly of Iberia, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2008, at her daughter's home. She was born on September 3, 1926, near Zebra, daughter of Robert K. and Daisy Ethel (Jeffries) Murray. On February 12, 1943, she married Bert D. Clark, who preceded her in death. On July 25, 1965, in Las Vegas, Nevada, she married William J. Hutchison, who also preceded her in death.

She worked for 24 years at the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, retiring on January 22, 1987

Survivors include three children, Garry J. Clark of Dripping Springs, Texas, Connie K. Gould of Willard, and John Robert Clark of Hartwell, Georgia; two stepsons, Steve Hutchison of Eldon and William Hutchison of Grandview; nine grandchildren, Kim Debayo-Doherty of Vienna, Virginia, Melissa Gould of Houston, Texas, Anthony Clark and Alana Clark both of Elberton, Georgia, Russell Clark and David Clark both of Hartwell, Georgia, Garry Mitchell and Laura Mitchell both of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Kevin Mitchell who is stationed in Korea in the U.S. Army; 15
great-grandchildren; four nephews; and three nieces.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two infant children, Donna and Billy; and two brothers, Robert and Marvin Murray.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Iberia Cemetery. Rev. Glen Golden will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
