Hazel Jean Patterson, age 79, of Ulman, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. She was born in Brumley on May 11, 1933, daughter of the late Clarence Wesley and Okal Fay (Devore) Jeffries. On June 4, 1957, in Camdenton, Hazel married Maurice Lynn Patterson, who preceded her in death on August 10, 2012.
Hazel was a member of the Iberia Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Kenneth Patterson and wife Donna, Ronald Patterson and wife Chris, John Patterson and wife Tammy, Paul Patterson and wife Allison all of Ulman; two daughters, Linda Wood and husband Gary of Eldon and Brenda Haley and husband David of Ulman; 21 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Dorral Jeffries, Roy Jeffries, and Homer Jeffries and one sister, Lois Jeffries.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 30, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Bill Vernon will officiate. Interment will be in Jackson Cemetery in Ulman.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, at the funeral home.
