Helene M. Springman, age 78, of Eldon, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at Eldon Nursing and Rehab. She was born in St. Louis on November 17, 1929, a daughter of the late Ben and Ruby (Pace) Wright. On January 24, 1949, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, she was married to Delbert Springman, who preceded her in death on October 1, 1996.

Helene was a homemaker and member of the Blue Springs Baptist Church.

Those who survive her include: one daughter, Kitty Waller and husband Bob of Flagstaff, Arizona; two sons, Rick Springman and wife Susan of Eldon and Stanley Springman of Nevada; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Two brothers, Robert and William Wright and one sister, Pretis Taft, also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, September 19, with services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Bro. John Shifflet will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Blue Springs Baptist Church Scholarship Fund.
