Henry Wieberg, age 62, of St. Anthony, died Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born in Miller County on January 19, 1945, son of Martin Henry Sr., and Josephine Mary (Holtmeyer) Wieberg. On May 21, 1966, in Jefferson City, he was married to Agnes Marie Scheppers, who preceded him in death on May 5, 1986.
He was a farmer and enjoyed fishing, camping, and tractor pulling. He operated a backhoe and dug graves in the central Missouri area for 31 years. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
Survivors include one son, Henry Wieberg Jr., and wife, Mary of Charlottesville, Virginia; two daughters, Marie Teresa Schulte and husband, Dennis of St. Anthony, and Rita Mary Hagenhoff and husband, Stephen of Freeburg, longtime friend and companion, Cindy Onstott and her family, Greg Onstott, Kevin Onstott, J. R. Onstott, and Debbie Bond and their families all of Iberia; three brothers, Martin C. Wieberg Jr., of St. Elizabeth, Anthony Wieberg of St. Anthony, and Norbert Wieberg of St. Anthony; four sisters, Catherine Otto of St. Anthony, Christine Otto of St. Anthony, Cecilia Kempker of Bonnots Mill, and Josephine Herx of St. Anthony; and two granddaughters and seven grandsons.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, Brittany Schulte; one son-in-law, Gene Schulte; and one sister, Marie Wieberg.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony. Rev. I. C. Medina will officiate. Interment will be in St. Anthony Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the St. Anthony Parish Hall with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
