Hiram Dean Perkins, age 69, of Laquey, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Cox Health Medical Center South in Springfield. He was born in Dixon, on September 8, 1951, son of the late Donald and Jessie Dean (Weeks) Perkins.

He is survived by one daughter, Tracy Perkins; five grandchildren, Cody Fry, Caleb Slone, Craig Koehn, Audrie Gann, and Alexis Gann; brother, Herb (Elaine) Perkins of Iberia; nephew, Tim (Shyla) Perkins; niece, Jennifer (Daniel) Pemberton; and numerous family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Travis Perkins and one niece, Jessica Whittle.

Dean's final wishes were to be cremated with final burial at a later date.
