Ina Wilson, age 91, of Iberia, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in Iberia, on July 15, 1925, daughter of the late James Preston and Edith (Shelton) Wilson.
Ina worked at Laclede Gas in St. Louis for over 30 years. She was a loving and generous lady who cared deeply for others especially her friends, family, and animals.
Ina was a member of the First Christian Church in Iberia.
She is survived by one sister-in-law, Janet Wilson of Florissant; three nieces, Lisa Hawley of Florissant, Beverly McDaniel of Montreal, and Lori Humphrey of Iberia; one nephew, James Brian Wilson of Florissant; and numerous great-nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, June Wilson and Barb Burnett and one brother, James Max Wilson.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 17, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Final inurnment will be in Livingston Cemetery near Iberia.
