Inez M. Hodge, age 84, of St. Elizabeth, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was born in Miller County on January 10, 1930, daughter of the late Henry and Livonia (Duncan) Farrow. On November 26, 1947 in St. Anthony, Inez married Arthur William Hodge, who preceded her in death on January 21, 1990.

Inez attended the St. Elizabeth Baptist Church.

She is survived by six sons, Jerry Hodge of Iberia, Stanley "Bud" Hodge of St. Anthony, William Hodge and wife Rosie of St. Anthony, Carl Hodge of Kaiser, Roy Hodge and wife Margaret of Oregon, and Paul Hodge and wife Rebecca of St. Elizabeth; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and two sister-in-laws, Myrlea Maddox and Norma Hodge.

She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Rhonda and Marla; one son, Carles Hodge; one grandchild, Murdock Rhodes; and one daughter-in-law, Judy Hodge.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with services immediately following at 12 (noon), on Saturday, September 20, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Sonny Meyer will officiate. Interment will be in Dake Cemetery near Iberia.
