Irene G. Woodland, 86, of Iberia, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010, at Twin Rivers Medical Center in Kennett, Missouri. She was born in Sullivan, Missouri on May 3, 1923, daughter of the late Albert and Cora (Callihan) Neff. In 1939 she married Carl Schubert Sr. She later married Shelby Woodland, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by three children, Patricia Kelly of Collinsville, Illinois, Carl Schubert Jr. and wife Margaret of Holcomb, and Robert Schubert and wife Charlotte of Iberia; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and three step daughters.

She was preceded in death by one great grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m., with services immediately following at 3 p.m., on Monday, March 1, 2010, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Interment will be in Iberia Cemetery.
