Iva Jane Luttrell, age 75, of Brumley, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Care Center. She was born in Kaiser on December 6, 1937, daughter of the late Finis and Beatrice (Hogue) Bilyeu. On May 22, 1955, in Kaiser, Iva married Oscar L. Luttrell, who preceded her in death on July 31, 2003.
Iva attended the Rodden Church of Christ in Brumley.
She is survived by three sons, John Luttrell and wife Patricia of Rocky Mount, Steven Luttrell and wife Diana of Iberia, and Randall Luttrell and Amarillo Johns of Kaiser; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jean Phillips of Brumley; and one brother, Frankie Bilyeu New Melle.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Inis Ash and one infant child.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Ralph Byrd will officiate. Interment will be in Robinett Cemetery near Brumley.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Robinett Cemetery.
