Jack Woody, age 49, of Crocker, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009, at Fort Leonard Wood Community Hospital. He was born in Waynesville on October 6, 1959, son of Meryl and Chloe (Jones) Woody.

He is survived by his mother; Chloe Woody of Meta; two brothers, Ronnie Woody and wife Deana of Dixon and Chuck Woody and wife Christina of Loose Creek; four nieces and nephews, Benjamin Woody of Dixon, Rebekah Woody of Dixon, Kailey Woody of Loose Creek, and Kinzey Woody of Loose Creek.

He was preceded in death by his father, Meryl Woody; maternal grandparents, Rev. Earl and Grace Jones; and paternal grandparents, Oscar and Gladys Woody.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Meta. Rev. Manuel Seaton will officiate. Interment will be in Pendleton Cemetery near Meta.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, at the funeral home.
