Jackie Lee Luebbert, age 78, of Meta, departed this life on Monday, May 10, 2021, at Westphalia Hills. He was born in Jefferson City on August 14, 1942, son of the late John and Florence Louise (Grellner) Luebbert.

Jackie honorably served in the United States Navy and was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Meta. Jackie was known for his love of rock collecting and his extensive knowledge of not only the types of rock, but how they were formed and where you could find them.  He had a generous heart and an endearing personality to all who met him.

He is survived by numerous cousins including Stephen "Tip" Weber of Westphalia and friends.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Meta with Fr. Leonard Mukiibi officiating. Inurnment will be held in St. Cecilia Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Carmelite Monastery in Jefferson City.
