James Earl Barker, age 85, of Brumley, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. He was born in Grove Springs on January 31, 1935.

James liked to play Xbox, go to car races, enjoyed restoring old cars and loved his dogs.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Betty Barker of Brumley; niece, Janet Wieberg (Chad) of St. Anthony; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude Barker and brother, Bobby Barker.

A graveside service with social distancing will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, at Jackson Cemetery in Ulman.
