James W. Fish, age 76, of Iberia passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009, at his home. He was born in Kansas on February 22, 1933, son of the late Oscar and Zella (Husley) Fish. On May 18, 1957, in Kansas City, James married Dorothy Jean Witt, who preceded him in death on March 11, 2009.

He is survived by three children, Rhonda Moore of Iberia, Donna Adkins of Eldon, and Steven Fish of Iberia; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; three brothers, Tom Fish of Oregon, Gilbert Fish of Kansas, and John Fish of Mississippi; and three sisters, Velma Esapy of Kansas, Carol Isabel of Indiana, and Judy Hurt of Kansas.

He was also preceded in death by two sons, James and Daniel Fish and one sister.

A graveside service with military honors under the direction of the Iberia VFW Post 6167 and American Legion Post 105 will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.
